Fall is here and this weekend has been perfect. I slept in Saturday and Sunday. Then I looked at an apartment in my friend's condo building on Saturday. It was very tiny and I actually felt claustrophobic. While the rent was much cheaper than I would pay once I move into another unit here while my unit is being renovated I think I need more space and of course I need more light. I needed to run errands afterwards but decided instead to get my pampering in. It hasn't been as frequent as it had been since my money is funny with the dentist bills and all. On Sunday I meant to work but I was pulled outside by the unseasonably warm weather. Took my Canon out. It actually hadn't been used since my summer vacation. Crazy! I decided to go to a park that I'd been meaning to visit for a while. The place is a hidden gem. I've passed it hundreds of times and never visited it. This is the first weekend since summer where I have really just relaxed and not stressed out about having things hanging over my head. Yes, I still have things to do before the work week begins, but I have enjoyed my weekend and don't want it to end. I need at least one more day but I have to save up my sick day since I have used a few already. I got a temporary crown placed on the broken tooth and it doesn't fit well. I hope the permanent one fits better. I suspect I might have needed a root canal but we will see how my teeth feel as time goes on. This procedure wasn't as easy as the first one. On top of that it capped out my dental benefits for the year and I have to pay a huge chunk of money out of pocket for that procedure.  I still have another tooth to be filled and my wisdom teeth need to be extracted. I have been in a funk lately as you can tell. Just angry, overwhelmed, and frustrated. This weekend it came to a head and I just stewed all weekend long. I had a surprise call from a cousin who is my same field and she is also experiencing the same work related issues after moving from one state to another. It helped to have someone who isn't at work to commiserate with. She promised to stay in touch so we can encourage each other. We will see. It is the middle of the night and I am wide awake. Why, well because I have been so congested. I had the ongoing ear infection which I doubt the antibiotics helped get rid of. I haven't been back to follow up. I probably should. I think it was related to a sinus infection. I haven't been knocked off my feet by it but it has been ongoing as well. I took decongestants but I am more congested than ever. Other people are noticing that my boss is bit off too. One of my coworkers wondered aloud if she be in the midst of a nervous breakdown. She has had a major life change with getting married and moving into her new husbands house. Major loss of control of her life there.  Just left the dentist for my second cleaning. Making some progress with getting my teeth back to optimal health but need to be more consistent with flossing.  I need to get my wisdom teeth extracted. Ugh! I really like my new dentist. I seem to get the cutest dentists...must be a requirement of dental school to be super cute! Walking down the hall today I noticed how my neighbors are so lax about leaving stuff outside the door in the hall (which is against the rules by the way).  One neighbor has pumpkins, another keeps shoes out there, and others always toss their umbrella there after it rains. I am still plugging along trying to catch my tail. I have cut out the going in early this week because I have been way too tired to get up so I have been getting to work on time by the skin of my teeth. I have still been staying late a few nights a week to continue trying to cross items off of my extensive to do list. Something is wrong with my boss. She sends out these full page emails over the weekend that she calls the post and at times it is full of attachments. Lately she has been embedding portions of articles for us to read. Cause, you know, we have so much time to read it and stuff. Anyyyy hoooo, her new thing is to put somewhere in the post to respond to something that she wrote. Even if it isn't anything that needs to be responded to. Today I went for a massage after work. I really wanted to go yesterday to try to get my energy level revived, but there were no appointments available. So I busted out of work and got my massage. It wasn't amazing, but it did the trick. I left out of the massage place and walked to my car to put my shoes in my truck. As I approach my vehicle I see some dude who looks like Isaac Hayes reared back in his vehicle with is eyes closed as a rhythmic slapping noise came out of his car. He was backed into the space and I was facing forward so I would have had to walk past him to get in my car. I put my shoes in the truck then headed back in the same direction I came to get something to eat from Chipotle. Mind you my appetite was kind of gone at that point, but I hadn't eaten lunch so I got a burrito bowl and ate while I was there hoping the meat beater was gone when I got back. No such luck.
