Juice of the Day: The Best of Both Worlds

So, I have been having a different juice every day. Sometimes I have two juices in a day. It can be an expensive habit (about $5 a cup) but it is worth it to me. Especially since I am not spending that money on food or other drinks. Today's juice was called The Best of Both Worlds. I wasn't really impressed with it and had to force it down and psyche myself out so I wouldn't gag. It was OK as long as I drank it while it was still cold. It had kale and other greens with fruits like mango and it might have had a little ginger. So far my favorite juice has been a green apple and ginger juice. Also, there is one a guy made that had parsley (and I hate parsley) with fruit juices. It was actually good. I am easing my way into the green juices. Tomorrow I probably will not get a juice unless I stop at the juice bar near my apartment on the way home. I think I have hit every juice bar in Harlem at this point. Some are better than others. After I got my juice I headed to get my ...

Counting down to spring

Only a couple of days left before I start my spring vacation! Woo hoo! No plans to travel anywhere. I think I am going to take advantage of my passport and go some where I can earn a stamp in the summer. People have been pissing me off. I am in need of some "me" time. Spring is my season.

W.A.D.

What a day! I started off by getting up early to wash clothes before attending 3 events. I also got my first passport since I was a kid! I am so excited since this has been a goal of mine for at least two years now. I can scratch it off of my to do list list! Where shall I go first? Tonight, I have one more event to attend and then I am done. Tomorrow I shall do absolutely nothing! If I have enough energy I will go grocery shopping, clean, and cook for the week ahead. Next week will be another crazy, busy week. The follow week I will be on vacation! Heck-frickin-yeah! When I will find the time to write?  I will have to sneak it in there somehow.

A White Christmas indeed!

So, the plan is to go to D.C. and have dinner at a friend of a friend's house. Not really feeling that plan, but don't want to back out at the last minute. I already don't really like spending Christmas away from home, but the alternative is to stay home and spend (yet another) Christmas alone. In the past I didn't mind. I was so whipped from work I didn't want to go anywhere. This year I have been on that vitamin regime and I slept from Friday until today. I was going to catch the train, but it has black out dates. Hmmm. Interesting choice of words. I was going to drive, but it is such a hassle to bother with parking. So, I decided on Bolt Bus. I am very apprehensive as I've had some crazy bus experiences in the past. I've heard positive things about Bolt, so I have to trust it will be good. A round trip for less than $40. Cheaper than driving when you factor in gas and tolls.  Manifesting a very positive travel experience. So, that means the petsitter will...
