Innies Unite!

Finally, some love for the introverts of the world! My best qualities come from being an innie. http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2012/07/hire-introverts/9041 On a totally unrelated (or somewhat related) note, the summer movie selection this year leaves something to be desired. I have been trying to strategize cool places to hang out this summer to escape the heat. More times than not the movie theater has been a big fail. I saw Madagascar 3 and was like Meh! It kept me out of the heat for 2 hours. Nothing really catching my eye at all.

Keirsey Type

This is so me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counselor_%28role_variant%29 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idealist_temperament There has been a lot going on at work. My boss has "cleaned house" and it is so strange, yet interesting, to see the skeletal collection of staff who remain. Please Understand me

One of the SOC Sunday posters did a post on her Myer-Brigg personality type. It reminded me that I am an INFJ (Myers-Brigg) and Idealist/Counselor (Keirsey ) which is only 1% of the population. When you are a minority it is easy to be misunderstood by others. My life is so rare...my personality type, my blood type, my experiences in life. When I read about INFJs, everything is right on the mark. I am an INFJ and I really can't do much about it. The really interesting thing about INFJs is that so many humanitarians are of this personality type: Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Oprah, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Nelson Mandela just to name a few. Wow! I guess that explains a lot about my view of the world.
