Regular Long time readers of my blog know that I lost my beautiful mother to cancer 11 years ago. My mother left me with many things but it seems the main thing she left me with the gift of compassion. Sometimes I feel as if this gift works against me just as it did her. It can be so much easier to be completely and totally selfish in the world I live in. Does compassion have a place in this current society?
