ot that I have a hangover, although my upstairs neighbor is about to give me a headache with all the noise he or she is making by cleaning -- at 2:00 a.m. That's all well and good if your thing is to clean in the middle of the night but please, do it quietly.

In my old blog I used to complain...a lot...about the super in our building. I am happy to report that he is G.O.N.E. and has been replaced with a really nice guy who seems to want to do a good job. Thank heavens for small blessings. We have around 85 units in my building, so noise is an issue as I wrote last month. The building manager overseeing our building has also been replaced and she seems to be pretty no nonsense. Considering the overuse of the word immediate in the memo sent to us, I am assuming she means business:

RE: APARTMENT NOISE

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IT HAS COME TO MANAGEMENT'S ATTENTION THAT CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS ARE NOT BEING CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS, AS FAR AS NOISE.

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT NOISE MAKING/MOVING FURNITURE LATE AT NIGHT/LOUD MUSIC PLAYING DISTURBES [sic] YOUR NEIGHBORS AND IT MUST COME TO AN IMMEDIATE STOP!

YOU MUST ADHERE TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF YOUR LEASE.

REMEMBER, WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE.*
