Brian McKnight sings this song "Could" that is on his Anytime CD that is so profound! I think the one thing we are all seeking in this world is to be fully and completely loved. Of course that means different things to different people but the power is love is amazing.
On the flip side, one of the worst things in world is to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't truly respect you -- this could be a "romantic" relationship, marriage, work relationship or even a friendship. You could be attractive, attentive and intelligent but this person can't see what you and the rest of the world see. They seem to want to dim your light and perhaps they feel it will make their own light shine brighter. I have found that if you help someone else's light shine that is what makes yours shine so much brighter. Selflessness is a beautiful characteristic.
