This was the view I had of the Empire State Building on my birthday from the rooftop of 230 Fifth Avenue. I had a cocktail with a friend and watched the sun set over Manhattan. Life is what you make it!

Parting Thoughts
Wishing I'd spent those final days waking up with you beside me rather than getting up to do other things. I remember like it was yesterday standing in the door of the bathroom watching you shave and talk about just ordinary things. I remember how soft and sweet your kisses were and will hold that memory in my mind forever. The last memory I have of you is sitting on my bed telling me what I didn't want to hear and then walking out my door without so much as a glance back. I never thought this scene would be a part of our lives.
The Foreign Exchange - Daykeeper
I'm fine. Just battling attacking allergies, but otherwise fine. I am trying to play catch up with writing in other places so I don't get a chance to post anything (other than videos it seems) over here anymore. I'll be back. I am in a transitional period in my life and as I enter my new phase I will have plenty to say. BTW, just celebrated a birthday! It was a nice day. Took the day off work so I would have enough energy to actually enjoy the evening. Had a cocktail on a Manhattan rooftop as the sun set then had a delicious meal at Negril in Chelsea accompanied by a couple other cocktails. Had just enough to feel good without keeping me from getting up for work the next morning.
