Browse Inside : Total Eclipse of the Heart I am not a fan of this genre of writing. Never read one of the books (that I can remember) but previewed this one due to a promotion I was asked to sponsor. From what I can tell the writing is amateurish. The characters are not well developed and the dialogue is contrived. Anyone out there a fan of either the author or the genre?

I've been away from blogging for a while. Have been too tired of distracted to come here and blog about my feelings and personal life. Haven't even been keeping a personal journal. I would images it can't be healthy, but perhaps I have finally after (mumble, mumble) years figured out the key of being happy and emotionally stable. I try not to get "stuck on stupid" like my cousin used to say. I try not complain too much and be grateful for what I have, even if it isn't much. I try to appreciate the little things in life. The kindness of strangers, the way light falls on an object, the laughter of a child...yeah, it sounds corny as hell, but it works for me. This year has had it's share of challenges. I've face some circumstances I thought and hoped I wouldn't have to face. But I made it (and continue to make it) through. I walk by faith and not by sight . I don't focus on the negative and turn my attention to what is working rather than fix...
