As We March Forward

It is officially spring and April showers will bring May flowers. As Corinne Bailey Rae sings in "Put your records on" the more things seem to change, the more they stay the same.  Today was to be laundry day, but I wound up with an upset stomach which is pretty much keeping me involuntarily housebound.  Such a lovely day out too and I actually woke up energized and ready to get to work. I am hoping whatever is coursing through my system finishes its trek in time for me to go to work.  There is so much I want to write about but I am still sorting my thoughts out. Once I have a bit more clarity I will be back.

Silence

I'm writing...just not here...or as much I would like to write. I started keeping a success journal. I don't write in it every day but I try to write regularly to remind myself of my goals for achieving success and how far I have managed to come. I am still working on getting my manifestations in alignment. Remember I said I was manifesting some things. I did...but they are not necessarily the way I envisioned them. I'm flexible but those around me - not so much. Staying faithful and keeping my thoughts from running too far off course. And how are YOU doing?

Love is a Lovely Thing!

I'm in the mood for love! I have been shut down and down right sour to the idea of having someone to spend time with and give me goose pimples on my arms. Someone to send tingles down my back just by hearing his voice speaking in deep low tones into my ear. I've spent the last year - maybe - like Scrooge saying "bah-humbug" to the love bug. But something came over me. I had this fabulous dream the other night that got me thinking how wonderful it would be to be in love. Who knows...perhaps it is just a temporary feeling that will pass. Or maybe love is in the stars.

January 1, 2009 - New Beginnings

I made it! I made it through the trials and tribulations of 2008 and am now standing in the grace. I have the opportunity to start anew. Fresh. What a blessing the end of the year has been. So many interesting people have entered (and reentered) my life. This past year can best be described as a learning year. I don't think I had a focus at the end of last year so my year was directionless. I have learned to do everything with intent. The brother at the bookstore gave me a copy of the audio book of "The Secret." It was like the comprehensive version of everything I have ever learned from The Bible and self help books. So my attitude is changed. I am living in abundance. Watch and see. Watch and see! If we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we are not really living. —Gail Sheehy Quote via Oprah.com
